The redesign of Zion National Park’s south entrance fee stations, completed under contract with the National Park Service, improved traffic flow, safety, and environmental performance. The project added traffic lanes and fee booths to reduce wait times, a new employee parking area to support operations, and a large shade canopy with integrated solar panels to promote sustainability. These improvements minimized congestion, enhanced roadway conditions, and elevated the overall visitor experience while preserving the park’s natural beauty and supporting its long-term environmental goals.
